What personal data we collect and why we collect it?

By default, WordPress does not collect any personal data about visitors, and only collects the data shown on the User Profile screen from registered users. However, some of your plugins may collect personal data.

Your computer I.P. address may be collected and run through our anti-spam database and held on said data base for 30 days.  Other information such as email, phone numbers, addressed and accounts would be given at the visitors’ discretion.


At this time, this site does not allow for third party media files be uploaded. 

Contact forms.

By default, WordPress does not include a contact form. We use WP forms on our site to collect email addresses for purposes of newsletters and promotions.  Visitors/subscribers are permitted to unsubscribe at any time.


Our website collects cookies and keeps them for 30 days.  This will help with overall user experience when visiting our site multiple times.

Some of our plugins collect data and is kept on a secure database.  We do not sell any data and all information collected on our site is protected from spam and harassment.

This site contains vehicle service history information that will always be accessible to the vehicle owner.  Any information given freely on our site is kept until the customer asks for the information be removed.

Our third-party programs store and house both personal and vehicle information.  These programs include Mitchell1, Pro Demand, My Shop Manager, Retention Pro and others.

How we protect your data

This site protects customer data from being breached by using 2-factor authorizations on all of the programs we use to collect data.  Our backups of the data is kept on a secure cloud server owned by Action Automotive.

When visitors leave comments on, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data?

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
